Pure Wafer was established in 2000 by a management team widely experienced in the semiconductor industry. Its' aim is to provide the highest quality reclaimed wafers with industry-leading standards of service.

Funding
Initial capital was provided by personal investment from the executive Directors, and, amongst others, HBOS, IBM and funds advised by Apax. A grant was also received from the Welsh Development Agency. The Company operates from a state-of-the-art, purpose built 4,500msq facility in South Wales and a purpose built 3,400msq facility in Prescott, Arizona and provides the majority of its services to semiconductor manufacturers based in Europe, North America and South East Asia.
